Biography

Hairdressing for over 18 years and former London Hairdresser of the Year, Luke has amassed much recognition and respect withing the industry. 

His work combines exceptional technical skill with a keen eye for current trends, and having previously worked on the shows, his focus is on education, editorial, working with brands and red carpet collaborations.

His growing list of celebrity credits include Billie Eilish, Carey Mulligan, Joe Dempsie, Roman Kemp, George Ezra, Liam Payne, Anna Friel, Mae Muller and Daisy Lowe.

Editorially, his work can be seen in publications such as Elle, Stella, and GQ and for brand campaigns such as Paul Smith, Superdry, American Crew, GHD, Hackett, Mr Porter and Hugo Boss. 

Luke is passionate about championing brands and enjoys working closely with them across all aspects - from social media partnerships, consumer and press facing events, to education and trade. He has and continues to have great commercial partnerships with brands such as Wella, GHD and Braun. In 2022, ALFAPARF Milano worked with Luke as their Creative & Educational Ambassador. In 2023, Luke was signed as Global Ambassador for Keune and towards the end of the year he will open Luke Benson Hair salon in Berkhamsted, Hertfordshire.
